Very rare 19th Century style French ring gun. The brass band of the ring has a light type vine & leaf engraving and is marked "LE PETIT PROTECTOR". Six-shot pinfire cylinder cal. 4 mm.The interior of the case French fit and lined in a burgundy velvet. The case has a Le Petit Protector silver oval maker plate on top of the lid. The set including a small screwdriver to remove the cylinder from the ring to load or unload the ring-gun. A beautifully made and intriguing fantasy piece.
